The Folder for everyday use from Ka-Bar was created in collaboration with the well-known and respected knifemaker Ethan Becker. It features a versatile Drop Point type blade, that was made of D2 steel. This steel is characterized by the fact that it holds its sharpness for a long time and can be sharpened easily and quickly with a pocket knife sharpener. This is a very lightweight knife, weighing less than 80g, yet it retains its versatility and durability, making it a great companion for everyday struggles.
The knife opens with the thumb using an easy-to-use double-sided thumb stud, and a sturdy Liner Lock protects the user from accidentally folding the blade during use. The handle facings are made of GFN (Glass Filled Nylon), which has a slightly textured surface. This allows a firm grip on the knife even with dirty hands, and the grip itself does not cause problems. The BK41 Folder is equipped with a four-position clip on both sides, which allows you to conveniently carry the knife in your Helikon pants pocket in Tip-Up or Tip-Down setting.
