Combat Kukri is smaller for about 20% version of the legendary Kukri Machete from Ka-Bar company.
Kukri blade type with thickness of over 4mm is made from one piece Cro-Van 1095 steel with a hardness of 56-58 HRC. Is additionally coated with matte black layer, protecting against glare and corrosion.
Machete is designed for heavy field work, such as cutting of bushes, branches and grass, and even digging. Adequate thickness of the blade and moved center of gravity to the front of the blade facilitates cutting and chopping.
The handle is made of Kraton G® material, improving grip even in wet or dirty hands. Against slip off the hand on the blade during use protects special shape of the handle.
Set includes a sheath made of nylon in black color and internally reinforced with Kydex. The pouch has sewn pocket with additional Kydex reinforcement for BK13 and similar knife (knife not included in the kit) and necessary accessories.
